About Handheld Performance
Handheld Performance is a web project dedicated to gathering and presenting the most relevant performance data for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games. Our goal is to help players and potential buyers make informed decisions by showcasing how well each title runs on these handheld consoles.
We focus on key technical aspects such as resolution, frame rate, and stability, offering a clear picture of how each game performs. For multiplatform releases, we also include comparisons with other systems like PlayStation and Xbox, so users can evaluate which version offers the best experience based on the consoles they own.
This project wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and hard work of various content creators and communities. A special thanks goes to Digital Foundry for their in-depth technical analyses, and to the community behind this incredibly valuable thread on ElOtroLado.net. Their contributions have been instrumental in building the foundation of Handheld Performance. For more information about the source used to extract data for each game, please refer to the “Source” section in the game’s detail page.
I’d also like to thank Brandon S. for generously sharing with me a comprehensive spreadsheet containing performance data from hundreds of games, and Backwards Compatible for inspiring the creation of this site and for providing some of the performance data related to PlayStation platforms.
If you’re a performance enthusiast and would like to support the project, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’ve spotted missing data or want to share detailed performance insights for games not yet covered, feel free to reach out through our contact page. Your input can help make Handheld Performance an even more valuable resource for the entire gaming community.
