Fire Emblem Engage is a Tactical RPG in the Fire Emblem series. The game features characters both new characters and returning characters from previous titles that can be summoned through Emblem Rings. The combat is top down with 2D and 3D graphics similar to more recent console and hand-held Fire Emblem games. There are mini games such as a fishing minigame, a fitness minigame, and a wyvern riding minigame. The story centers around the country of Elyos. Alear, a divine dragon, is awoken from a one thousand year slumber to help defeat the Fell Dragon by gathering the Emblem Rings spread across Elyos.
